Overview

This is a summary of the main requirements and focus points for valuing a Unit Title property with a residential use. I have assumed that the reader has an understanding and some experience in carrying out residential valuations and is looking to broaden the range of residential property types that they value. The contents of this paper are mainly aimed at an ‘intermediate’ residential valuer as an introduction to the topic. Commentary on commercial property valuations has not been included because of my mainly residential apartment valuation background.
